FACILITIES AND CAPABILITIES

Our Aluminum Rolling Mill has undergone major investment and modernization over the past several years, transforming it into one of the most capable and efficient facilities in North America. Originally acquired from Arconic in 2018 for $350 million USD, the site continues to expand its capacity, automation, and product range to meet growing market demand.

The fully integrated operation includes casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, leveling, and slitting. We process a wide range of raw materials, including primary aluminum, recycled aluminum scrap, and alloy hardeners, to produce high-quality rolling slab and finished coil for diverse applications.

Casting operations produce slabs weighing between 35,000 and 45,000 pounds. Each slab is hot rolled into a coil ranging from 30,000 to 40,000 pounds, providing consistent gauge control, surface quality, and mechanical properties. The original plant capacity was 150,000 metric tons per year, with multiple upgrade programs significantly increasing throughput and flexibility.

  • 2019 – 2020: USD $116.5 million in upgrades to improve reliability, automation, and throughput.
  • 2021 – 2023: USD $191 million expansion of the cold rolling mill to support growing demand for high precision aluminum strip.
  • 2023 – 2025: USD $452 million integrated casting and hot rolling expansion to boost capacity, enhance efficiency, and support strategic growth.

Together, these investments position the mill as a modern, high capacity producer with advanced process capabilities and a strong commitment to long term growth and quality.
